The Best Western Le Donjon Les Remparts Hotel is made up of three different, traditional buildings: Le Donjon, Le Clos Trencavel and La Maison des Remparts. The main building has a honey-coloured stone façade and shuttered windows. A spacious but narrow area, the lobby boasts several seating areas graced by elegant Louis XIII-style furniture. The 62 guestrooms vary markedly in size, due to the age of the property and the different characters of the buildings that comprise it. In general, however, they are decorated in a simple but pleasing style, complemented by patterned bed linen and dark wood headboards. Though not especially large, the tiled en suite bathrooms are well maintained. The hotel has a dining room inside the main building, where a Continental breakfast can be taken every morning, but the main restaurant is the chic, modern Brasserie Le Donjon, just across the road, set in a renovated traditional building. Guests can also take breakfast in the garden during fine weather.
